J27 Stool - Jet Black

Restraint was Børge Mogensen's signature; his 1940s J27 stool practices it in jet black.

Designed while Mogensen led the FDB Møbler studio, the J27 is the working stool of Danish modernism — dining table overflow, homework seat, impromptu side table. Here in beech painted Jet Black (RAL 9005) with water-based paint, built to last and patinate.
