Common Questions

Why is the J67 collectible?
Original examples became sought-after at auction houses during the decades it was out of production — Johansson designed it in 1957 while heading FDB Møbler's design studio, and collectors never forgot it.

What defines the J67's look?
The molded backrest — a single sculpted band that gives the chair its fine balance and light silhouette, executed with cabinetmaker precision.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
