L43 MK46 Mogens Koch 3-Person couch - Cognac

Cognac leather deepens with every year — fitting for a sofa first built for a Danish manor in 1947.

The L43 MK46 3-person couch in cognac Spoor Zea leather shows Mogens Koch's construction principle plainly: an independent nature-lacquered oak frame, never hidden by the upholstery it carries. Relaunched by FDB Møbler with Mogens Koch Design for the designer's 125th anniversary.

Materials

Spoor Zea leather upholstery, cognac; solid oak frame, nature lacquered

Common Questions

Will cognac leather change color?
Yes, gracefully — cognac leather darkens and gains patina where hands and light touch it most, a quality generally prized in classic Danish leather furniture.

What rooms suit the MK46's proportions?
At 80.1 in wide but only 30.1 in deep, it suits rooms where a full three-seater must not crowd the floor — the shallow, upright profile saves real space.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
