M4 Sammen Central plate

The six-foot bridge between two garden tables — how a Danish dinner for eight becomes one for sixteen.

The large M4 Sammen central plate in solid nature-oiled teak joins two Sammen tables into one long surface, integrating without compromising stability or looks. Thomas E. Alken designed it as the connective tissue of the series at FDB Møbler.

Common Questions

How does the central plate work?
It spans between two Sammen tables (M2 or M3) with their end sections removed, creating one continuous 72.8 in longer surface for big gatherings.

Which size plate do I need?
This 72.8 in version adds a full table's length; a 33.1 in version exists for more modest extensions. Both store flat between parties.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
