M4 Sammen Central plate

Three feet of extra table, stored flat eleven months a year — the practical kind of Danish hospitality.

The smaller M4 Sammen central plate in solid nature-oiled teak links two Sammen garden tables into one longer surface without disturbing their stability or lines. Thomas E. Alken designed it to fit both the M2 and M3 tables from FDB Møbler.

Common Questions

What is the difference from the M5 extension leaf?
The M4 central plate joins TWO tables in the middle; the M5 leaf extends a SINGLE table at its end. Both fit the M2 and M3.

Does the added section wobble?
No — the plate is engineered to integrate with the tables' frames, so the combined surface keeps the stability of the original tables.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
