Why mottled rather than solid grey?
The melange weave hides lint and daily wear far better than a flat color, keeping the seat looking fresh between cleanings.
Can I use it on a different chair?
It will sit on any flat seat, but the tailored fit — flush to the J18's edges — only happens on the chair it was cut for.
