Fermob makes its chairs and tables at its own workshops in Thoissey, in eastern France, from steel and aluminum. Every frame goes through a 22-stage paint process that includes anti-corrosion treatment, and Fermob sells touch-up paint and spare parts so pieces can be repaired.

Fermob Balad Lamp
Tristan Lohner borrowed the handle from headphone design, and the Balad has been carried from table to garden since 2015.
The original Fermob portable lamp pairs a soft-glow polyethylene diffuser with an aluminum handle that hangs, hooks, and carries. A push button cycles two brightness levels and three color temperatures, from candlelight amber to cool white, in two sizes.

How long does the battery last?
The H.10 runs about 7 hours at full power and up to 14 at the lower setting; the H.15 runs about 9 hours at full power and up to 16 dimmed.
Can the Balad be left outdoors?
It is IP44-rated — fine for evenings out and light rain, but bring it under cover rather than leaving it exposed, and store it indoors over winter to protect the battery.
