The taller Balad² throws a wider pool of light — up to four times brighter than the original it grew from.
At 15 inches, this is the second-generation Balad sized for real illumination: dining tables, garden paths, poolside. Tristan Lohner's touch-activated handle dims each of three color moods from 10 to 100 percent, and Fermob's magnetic USB-C connection handles recharging.

How do I control the brightness?
Through the touch-sensitive control — tap to switch modes and hold to dim smoothly between 10 and 100 percent, including a flickering candlelight setting for dinner tables.
Can it handle weather?
Yes, the IP54 rating covers rain and splashes in normal use, a step up from the original Balad's IP44. Charge and overwinter it indoors to keep the battery healthy.
