This J48 chair sets a seat of dark brown Sevilla leather (4030) into a nature-lacquered solid oak frame. Poul M. Volther drew the design in 1951 for FDB Møbler, and its rounded, separate backrest — cousin to his Corona chair — still explains its staying power.
