Yang Lin founded Greenington in 2004 to make furniture from 100% solid Moso bamboo, a renewable material 20% harder than red oak. Production uses the whole culm, and the sawdust fuels the kilns.

Zephyr Console Table
An oval top balanced on two inclined pedestals — entryway sculpture in 100% solid Moso bamboo.
The Zephyr Console Table holds the space between architecture and furniture: 60 inches of sweeping oval surface over an asymmetric base that reads differently from every angle. Greenington offers it in light Wheat, caramelized into the bamboo with heat, steam, and pressure, or Caviar, a hand-applied transparent dark finish that lets the grain show through.
