WING Dining Armchair
Kiyoshi Sadogawa modeled WING on a bird spreading its wings, and CondeHouse calls the armchair the signature piece of the collection.
The curved back is formed to look generous while using as little wood as possible, then flows into arms shaved down to a fine taper. The edges stay crisp against the soft outline, and the joints between arm, leg and back are finished by hand at CondeHouse's factory in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. The cushioned seat is a removable cover, so the chair can be re-covered rather than replaced. Quick ship comes in walnut, or in Japanese cherry stained medium brown; more in the CondeHouse collection.

Common Questions
Will the arms fit under my table?
The arms sit 25 1/2 in from the floor. Measure from the floor to the underside of your tabletop or apron: if that is higher than 25 1/2 in, the chair tucks in; if not, it stops at the arms.
What is the difference between the walnut and the cherry?
Walnut is the darker, more figured wood. The cherry is Japanese sakura stained medium brown, which CondeHouse describes as a sustainable alternative to walnut. It costs less, and there is more of it in quick-ship stock.
Can the seat be re-covered later?
Yes. WING uses a removable seat cover, so the upholstery can be swapped for another fabric or leather without replacing the chair. Ask us at hello@comosum.co for swatches.
