Common Questions

Will white and natural cord clash?
No — the cord's straw tone warms the white frame, avoiding the sterile look of all-white chairs while keeping the room bright.

What keeps the J80 comfortable for long dinners?
The woven paper cord seat flexes and breathes, and Bækmark's proportions — a 1950s golden-age design — support hours at the table.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
