Common Questions

Why buy the chair's own cushion?
Generic pads overhang or drift; the Nøje cut matches the J45's seat outline exactly, so the cushion reads as part of the chair's design.

Does black leather suit a light wood J45?
Yes — black-on-oak is a standing Danish combination; it sharpens the frame where the cognac version warms it.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
