Cognac leather darkens and softens where hands rest, while the spoke-back oak frame stays exactly as drawn in 1978.

The J146 is the armchair of Erik Ole Jørgensen's spoke-back range for FDB Møbler — curved armrests that invite you to settle in, over a nature lacquered oak frame. Because Jørgensen trained as an upholsterer as well as a furniture designer, the cognac leather cushions are not an afterthought but half the design.
