J146 Armchair - Green

Green upholstery reads almost botanical against turned oak spokes — the 1978 armchair at its most garden-facing.

Erik Ole Jørgensen shaped the J146 for FDB Møbler with the double eye of a trained upholsterer and furniture designer, so the loose Green 32 fabric cushions and the curved oak frame were conceived together. It is the armchair of the spoke-back range — the seat that invites the longest stay.

Materials

Nature lacquered oak frame; MLF fabric upholstery, Green 32

Dimensions

33.9 in W x 28.5 in D x 30.9 in H; 26.5 lbs

Designer

Erik Ole Jørgensen, 1978

Care

Vacuum with a soft brush attachment; blot spills immediately

Common Questions

Is there a matching sofa for this armchair?
Yes — the same 1978 range includes the J148 two-person couch and the J149 three-person couch, both with the spoke back and available in matching upholstery, so a full seating group is possible.

How should I clean the green fabric?
Vacuum regularly using a soft brush attachment and deal with spills by blotting immediately with a dry, clean cloth; avoid rubbing, which pushes liquid deeper into the MLF weave.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
