J46 Chair Set of 2 - Dust & Bones

Soft, bone-pale, and quietly warm — the Dust Bones finish gives Volther's 1956 best-seller its gentlest voice.

This set of two J46 spoke-back chairs from FDB Møbler is painted in Dust Bones, a muted off-white from the brand's color range, on beech with water-based paint. Same 1956 lines, same wide comfortable seat.

Common Questions

How does Dust Bones differ from pure white?
It's softer — a greyed, mineral off-white that avoids the clinical edge of true white and flatters warm woods and linen tones.

Can I mix this pair with other finishes?
Yes — J46 colors are designed to combine; Dust Bones works as the quiet base note against stronger colors or natural-lacquer chairs.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
