J149 3-Person couch - Beige

Room for a small family — or one person and a book, stretched full length — wrapped in beige fabric.

As the three-person couch of Erik Ole Jørgensen's 1978 range for FDB Møbler, the J149 pairs nap-length proportions with the light, airy spoke-back frame in nature lacquered oak. MLF fabric in Beige 61 keeps the largest piece in the family visually soft.

Materials

Nature lacquered oak frame; MLF fabric upholstery, Beige 61

Dimensions

74.6 in W x 28.1 in D x 31.5 in H; 72.1 lbs

Designer

Erik Ole Jørgensen, 1978

Care

Vacuum with a soft brush attachment; blot spills immediately

Common Questions

How many people does the J149 seat?
It seats three — Jørgensen described it as a 'proper' sofa with room for a small family — and at 74.6 in wide it also serves one person lying along its length.

How do I maintain the beige upholstery?
Vacuum the Beige 61 fabric regularly with a soft brush attachment, blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth, and rotate the loose cushions so all three seats wear at the same pace.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
