J149 3-Person couch - Green

Full-length naps and light, airy lines rarely share one sofa — this 1978 spoke-back three-seater offers both.

Erik Ole Jørgensen designed the J149 couch for FDB Møbler with an upholsterer's eye for how cushions should sit on a frame. This version dresses the nature-lacquered solid oak spoke-back in Main Line Flax Green (32), a muted green that plays well with the oak's warmth.

Materials

Solid oak, nature lacquered; loose cushions upholstered in Main Line Flax Green (32)

Common Questions

Can I nap on the J149?
Yes. The seat runs the sofa's full 74.6-inch width without dividers, so it doubles as a daybed for one while seating three upright.

How does the green fabric pair with the oak frame?
Main Line Flax Green (32) is a muted, grey-leaning green that sits naturally against the pale nature-lacquered oak — closer to Nordic restraint than a statement color.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
