J46 Chair - Bottle Green

One bottle-green spoke-back can shift a whole dining set — Volther's 1956 design does it politely.

This single J46 chair from FDB Møbler comes in Bottle Green (Pantone 553C) on beech with water-based paint. The forest-deep color sits comfortably on the frame that made the J46 one of Denmark's most-bought chairs.

Common Questions

Can I mix one green chair into an existing set?
Yes — the J46 palette was made for mixing; one Bottle Green chair among natural or grey J46s reads intentional, not accidental.

What is the J46's seat height?
Standard dining height — the chair stands 31.5 inches overall with a wide seat, sized for regular 29 to 30-inch tables.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
