The J46 single from FDB Møbler in Yellow (NCS S 1060-Y10R): a clear, warm yellow in water-based paint over solid beech, on the spoke-back that became one of Denmark's best-selling chairs.

Common Questions

Warm yellow or lemon yellow?
Warm — NCS S 1060-Y10R leans golden rather than acid, which keeps it friendly beside natural woods and off-whites.

Is a colorful chair a risky buy?
Not on this frame — the 1956 design carries color as a refresh, and repainting-friendly solid beech means the chair outlasts any single palette.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
