Common questions

What is Anglepoise?

Anglepoise is a British task lighting brand founded in 1935 around George Carwardine's spring-balanced lamp design. It is a Certified B Corporation and guarantees its lamps for life, including in the US.

Where is Anglepoise lighting made?

Most Anglepoise lamps are made in China. The Giant range is made in the UK.

What sustainability certifications does Anglepoise hold?

Anglepoise has been a Certified B Corporation since 2024. Its lamps use a replaceable LED bulb, and the brand sells more than 60 spare parts, so a lamp can be repaired rather than replaced.

What does the Sustainability Meter say about Anglepoise?

Made to last chosen with intention.
