The J166 Jørna pairs a jet-black painted oak frame with black Denver semi-aniline leather, the most graphic colorway in the series from FDB Møbler. Volther, who led the FDB design studio from 1950, sized it for real life: knitting then, a laptop or tablet today.

Volther named the chair after his wife and designed it around how she actually sat — knitting with long needles — so the proportions leave room for whatever you bring to the chair.
