J166 Jørna Chair - Dark Grey
Armchairs that recharge you without commandeering the room are rare; Poul Volther's Jørna is barely 30 inches wide.
Named for Volther's wife and drawn with room for her long knitting needles, the J166 from FDB Møbler remains a chair for settling in with something. This colorway pairs Main Line Flax Dark Grey (28) with a jet-black painted (RAL 9005) oak frame — tonal, urban, quiet.

Common Questions
What rooms suit the dark grey Jørna?
Anywhere calm is the goal — the Dark Grey (28) and black pairing recedes politely in bedrooms, offices, and reading corners rather than demanding attention.
Who designed the J166 and why?
Poul M. Volther, head of FDB Møbler's design studio from 1950, designed it for his wife Jørna — sized so her knitting, or your laptop, fits alongside you.
