J166 Jørna Chair - Green

The most personal design in Poul Volther's catalog began as a chair for his wife's knitting hours.

The J166 Jørna from FDB Møbler still keeps that easy generosity — room for needles then, laptops now. Here, Main Line Flax Green (32) upholstery meets a jet-black painted (RAL 9005) oak frame, a muted green that turns the graphic base botanical.

Oak frame, painted Jet Black (RAL 9005); upholstered in Main Line Flax Green (32)

Common Questions

Is the green subtle or saturated?
Subtle — Main Line Flax Green (32) is a muted, grey-leaning green that reads as a neutral with character, especially framed by the black-painted oak.

Does the Jørna suit small living rooms?
Yes. At 30.1 inches wide and 19.4 pounds it delivers armchair comfort in a compact, easy-to-move package — Volther designed it for ordinary Danish homes, not showrooms.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
