Nova Sea Upholstered Side Chair

An upholstered seat softens ARDE's Nova Sea shell — still molded from 96% recycled fishing nets.

Danish studio ARDE designed the Nova Sea line for Mater around material recovered from the sea: used fishnets converted by recycler Plastix into a moldable compound. This sidechair adds an upholstered seat pad over the recycled shell for dining-room comfort, on light steel legs, with the whole chair designed for disassembly and future recycling.
