Nova Sea Side Chair

Ninety-six percent of this chair's shell is recycled fishing net, recovered from the oceans and remolded to Danish studio ARDE's design.

The Nova Sea Sidechair translates ARDE's Nova Chair aesthetic into ocean-recovered material: Mater developed the seat with Danish cleantech recycler Plastix, which converts used fishing nets into new raw material. Light steel legs contrast the molded shell, the chair stacks up to six high, and every part is designed for disassembly and recycling.
